In this talk i will show how to rapidly create high performance Rust applications with Makepad. You can use your AI of choice codex, claude running inside the makepad IDE. Rust is the ideal language for AI generation because of its strong compiler guarantees and superb performance. We no longer need to write it by hand. Makepad studio has automation integration for the AI so it can generate, see, click buttons and iterate completely automated on visual applications. Makepad compiles to web, desktop (windows, linux, macos), mobile (android, ios) and XR (Quest). In this talk i will demo how far we can push AI application generation including AI generated CAD, 3D, map rendering, vector engines, and mixed reality 3D world scanning.
