Gaotian (Vector) Wang is a Computer Science PhD student at Rice University. He is the creator of XLeRobot, a fully open-source, low-cost ($660) dual-arm mobile robot platform that has gained 4.8k+ GitHub stars and a global community of 6,000+ builders since its release in May 2025. XLeRobot is built on the Hugging Face LeRobot ecosystem and has been adopted by researchers, educators, and hobbyists worldwide.
