Jiaju Zhang is a passionate open-source advocate with over 20 years of experience in R&D, architectural design, and engineering management. His expertise spans Linux, distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, and AI infrastructure. Throughout his career, Jiaju has held senior leadership roles, including Chief Architect, Technical Director and Head of R&D in China, at major multinational and ICT enterprises. As an independent contributor, he has successfully launched and promoted globally recognized open-source projects.
Currently, Jiaju serves as Chief Architect in Field CTO Organization, Red Hat, focuses on advancing open source AI communities like vLLM and llm-d and fostering enterprise solutions through co-engineering with ecosystem partners. His work is instrumental in driving AI technology strategy and accelerating the industrial deployment of Red Hat solutions across various vertical sectors.
