Dr Hai-Xu Cheng currently works as the CTO of Rothwell International after retiring from the role of IBM Global Lead and IBM GCG CTO of standards and open source. His current major focus is providing consulting services for enterprise clients at C-level on architectures, standards, and open source. In his prior role at IBM, he led the global and China teams working to develop open-source communities and technologies spanning AI, data and analytics, cloud computing, quantum computing, and blockchain, advocating for clients to adopt open technologies to fuel innovation in both technical and business domains.
